The Library offers a variety of free programs to help foster a love of literacy and lifelong learning for kids of all ages and families. Most programs are drop-in and are offered throughout the year on a seasonal basis in addition to special events.

Program Details:
Every Child Ready to Read Babies |
An early literacy storytime that gives kids a jump-start to a love of reading. Interactive activities like talking, singing, reading and playing for babies up to eighteen months. Drop-in to this program on Wednesdays, 1 p.m. at the Mill Street Library and Fridays, 10:30 a.m. at the Alder Street Library. The spring session runs from April 3 to June 7. Every Child Ready to Read Everyone |
Take part in songs, stories and rhymes for kids five and under. This fun, hands on program gives parents ideas and activities to help engage kids in reading and learning. Drop-in to this program on Tuesdays, 10:30 a.m. at the Alder Street Library and Thursdays, 10:30 a.m. at the Mill Street Library. The spring session runs from April 2 to June 6. Adventures in the Park with EarlyON |
Join us on Mondays from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with our friends from EarlyON Dufferin, for an adventure in the park. Meet at Village Green Park, 53 Hewitt St. The Spring session starts April 8. Check our Event Calendar for upcoming dates and times. |
