The Friends of the Orangeville Public Library is a volunteer organization that supports the library through advocacy, assistance with library programs, and special events designed to raise money for library needs.
Join the Friends. It's a great way to meet others who share your passion for books and to have some fun, all while supporting your community.
Saturday, October 19 - 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. - The Friends of the Orangeville Public Library book and bake sale will be at the Mill Street Library. You will find sweet treats and a good selection of books. The book sale is by donation. Shoppers are asked to bring a bag to fill and then make a donation (buyers set the price). The sale is cash only, with all proceeds going to support the library.
Please note that the Friends will accept book donations for the sale the week of October 15. We do not accept encyclopedias, textbooks or Readers' Digest. We also do not need coffee table books at this time.
Friends meet four to six times a year. Meetings are held on Tuesdays at the Mill Street Library beginning at 10:15 a.m. No meetings are scheduled during the summer.
Membership is $5
