The Library offers a variety of free programs to help foster a love of literacy and lifelong learning for kids of all ages and families. Most programs are drop-in and are offered throughout the year on a seasonal basis in addition to special events.

Saturday, January 25, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Mill Library - Celebrate Family Literacy Day with a family storytime and magic show! Ms. Erin and special guest Marty the Magician will share the wonders of reading together as a family in this fun and engaging program filled with stories and magic tricks.
Family Literacy Day takes place annually on January 27 to raise awareness about the importance of reading and engaging in other literacy-related activities as a family.

Every Child Ready to Read Babies |

An early literacy storytime that gives kids a jump-start to a love of reading. Interactive activities like talking, singing, reading and playing for babies up to eighteen months. Drop-in to this program on Wednesdays, 1 p.m. at Mill and Fridays, 10:30 a.m. at Alder. The winter session runs from January 15 to March 7. No registration is required. Every Child Ready to Read Everyone |

Take part in songs, stories and rhymes for kids five and under. This fun, hands on program gives parents ideas and activities to help engage kids in reading and learning. Drop-in to this program on Tuesdays (10:30 a.m. at Alder) and Thursdays (10:30 a.m. at Mill). The winter session runs from January 15 to March 6. No registration is required. Adventures in the Park with EarlyON |
|
Join us on Mondays from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with our friends from EarlyON Dufferin, for an adventure in the park. The program is at Village Green Park, 53 Hewitt St. Check our Event Calendar for upcoming dates and times. |
